This weekend was spent lazily at home watching the London 2012 Olympics. I thought I wouldn’t be able to do the challenge as I have no creative purple subject in mind. Then, voilà! Right in front of me is the rose I received from my better half for my birthday. It was originally a bright pink long-stemmed rose. After a week, its petals slowly turned to purple. It’s amazing how flowers, even withered, remain beautiful.
I took this photo using the new iPad. I’m impressed with its 5-megapizel iSight camera. I guess I will be taking more photos using it.
I hope you like it.
