Silhouettes add a mysterious characteristic to photos. It is the product of the perfect meeting of light and darkness when figures are highlighted shedding off all the other qualities of the subject and keeping only the subtle lines, curves and shapes of faceless people and nameless buildings.

Faceless People and Nameless Buildings
Can you guess specifically (not just the country) where this mysterious photo was taken? Easy, isn’t it? Because I’ve been sending postcards to family and friends recently (and received one a few days ago), why not send a postcard to friends here in the blogosphere as well? I will randomly select one from those who will give the correct answer (before the next Weekly Photo Challenge on Friday) and send him/her a postcard from Canberra. Write down your comments below!
