Weekly Photo Challenge: EERIE (Cobwebs and Candles)

This photo was taken during the Canberra Nara Candle Festival last 26 October 2013 at Canberra Nara Peace Park Lennox Gardens. This annual festival commemorates the sister city relationship between Canberra, Australia and Nara, Japan.

Cobwebs are beautifully eerie. They symbolize both creation and abandonment. How spiders spin around in a seemingly random way yet creates a pattern is nature’s mystery. How easily people cover their past and forget the once familiar places is life’s mystery.

Share an eerie photo and the story it tells by joining the Weekly Photo Challenge.
