Contact Me

Thanks to information revolution, there is now more than 1 way of connecting with people.

For personal inquiries and private comments (ehem!), you may contact me at
theblacktwig [at] gmail [dot] com.

If you are interested in helping me reach my dream of being an international development worker, check out  for my professional background.

I also have accounts on the following platforms of which I made personalized buttons for my widgets. But I realized that with my new blog theme, they might probably go unnoticed. I’m very much happy to share photos, videos and words with you. Feel free to click these buttons.

I recently created a Facebook page for the sake of curiosity. What could possibly a better way of publicity other than Facebook?

I’m not a “photographer” but I love taking photos using the Canon EOS 600D my husband gifted me. Check out my Flickr account and add me as a contact. You can also visit my 500px profile where I keep my favorite photos.

It was never in my mind to become famous thru Youtube, but I have a collection of How Not To videos that might entertain you. Let me know what you think.

I’m not active in Twitter as I am in FB, but I post more personal messages on Twitter.

And most importantly, do subscribe to my blog. Hit that subscribe button located at the upper right of this page. Cheers and hope to connect with you!

  1. This is completely amazing, I can’t even describe. I was born in SE Asia (Thailand) and traveled back and forth throughout my childhood to Malaysia, Philippines and been to Singapore… but have not been back for 15+ years…. thank you SO much for bringing this back into my life.

    • There’s no place like home right. I’m happy that this humble space brings back memories of SE Asia. I’ve been to some countries in the region and I am proud to be a part of it. Thanks a lot!

  2. Just found your blog and wanted to say I LOVE your country banners on the side! Great photos and love the flags incorporated into them.

  3. Nice to stumble upon your blog. Honestly, seeing how much you have traveled makes me envy you. Though I’m a photographer, I haven’t traveled as much as you have. But i would love to. Some day I will. Looking forward to see more of your adventures.

    • Hi Irfan. Thank you for your kind words. There’s so much to see, yet so little time (and money). Your photos are amazing! And the B&W ones are simply flawless. I just got a DSLR and will try to improve taking photos. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot from your site. See you around the web!

  4. TBT!!!

Yes, I was away in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia for a few weeks and couldn’t get on. I just got back home and need to catch up but will be posting in the next few days. I see you changed your “look” again …looks great!!!

    • Wow! You know what, I was just talking to my friends this night telling them that I badly want to go to Myanmar because of this certain blog that inspired me (yeah, it’s yours hehe). I also told them how I wonder where in the world you are traveling now because you were not posting for months already. And as soon as I get back and turned on my laptop, saw your comment here. ^_^ Can’t wait for your travel updates. See you!
